ABOUT ME

With theatre in her blood, Katie Love, 24 started ballet at the age of two making her first appearance on a stage, managed by her dad, through her local Worcester amateur dramatics society.

She then began training at Doreen Bird College where she was scouted by an agent.

Katie now has her own theatre company; Default Theatre, and by 2009 she had already directed, choreographed and produced her own show called Dangerous Fields.

As well as ballet, she loves contemporary for the freedom and uniqueness it gives to her dance; “I don’t fit into a box, I can move my way.”

From a young age, Katie has enjoyed dance competitions, making it to the finals numerous times.

She looks forward to the challenge So You Think You Can Dance will offer and sees it as a way in which she can use her skills in hope of bettering herself.
