ABOUT ME
Mandy is originally from the States born in Maryland. She moved to the UK only 8 years ago after meeting her partner while performing on a cruise ship.
Mandy may be familiar to some viewers already, performing as a dancer at the live shows for the X Factor and also appearing in Cheryl Cole’s recent single ‘3 words’ as one of the lead dancers.
Mandy uses her skills to teach young dancers in countries such as the Ukraine and Russia showing how passionate about dance she is. She is also a tutor for the ‘Drive Dance Project’ where European celebrities get to learn how to dance.
Mandy learnt of the show coming to our shores in February and has got herself back into the best possible condition for the show. Her life motto is ‘Happiness is something you earn’ which she hopes will see her be successful on the show and become the nations favourite dancer.

Mandy is phenomenal, she dances with such finess that you are captivated. I hope she wins SYTYCD and will be voting Mandy all the way. She is the bar to reach, who wouldn’t want to be able to dance like her? Good luck Mandy!
Mandy is indeed a POWERHOUSE. She can adapt to any dance style and any challenge given. She is equally an athletic dancer and one that possesses feminine finesse. She has wonderful technique and performance quality. She is the hardest worker and she pushes herself to achieve perfection. She is the BEST dancer. She is imaginative, funny, and a genuinely good person. Mandy gave up a career in the US in her pursuit of love in the UK with her British husband. It didn’t take her long to lose her heart to Britain and the British people. Mandy loves her adopted UK and calls the UK her home. America’s loss is the UK’s gain. The British people are very lucky to have her. Come on UK friends, vote for Mandy because she really is your girl and should be your “Favorite dancer”.

Mandy is the most versatile dancer there. Unlike all of the others, there is no dance that she struggles with.
The judges know she is the best dancer there as it comes out in all of their comments.
The show is about finding the best dancer, so MANDY TO WIN!

Actually, I think the programme is about finding the country’s favourite dancer – not best dancer. There is no doubt Mandy is versatile – all the final 14 are fabulous dancers – they wouldn’t have got as far as the live shows had they not been. I think it’s pretty obvious that certain dancers are favoured more than others and I feel Hayley was treated very shabbily this week in regards to editing – unlike some of the others. Personally, she was my favourite dancer and I feel she is just as versatile as Mandy – I’m a sucker for talented, beautiful blonds!! However, I wish Mandy and the rest lots of luck for the remainder of the series.

I was offended by Mandy stating she was the blubbering American. I am an American living in the UK and we are from the same place in the states. Don’t make us all look bad!

Kiki, please look up the definition of blubbering which means to “utter while crying or sobbing”. In fact, Mandy upheld our dance standards and made us proud to be an American.
