Congratulations to Charlie! She most definitely deserved to win. She is such a versatile dancer and being so young, has time to evolve and mature as a person and a dancer. I’ve really enjoyed watching her journey over the last few weeks, and right from the start I felt she had what it takes to succeed. Her musicality, expression and passion has had me crying and grinning in equal doses. I have a seven year old daughter who is currently taking ballet lessons, and watching Charlie has inspired her so much. I was so aware of how Charlie’s parents must have been feeling; they are, I have no doubt, very proud and rightly so – if she were my daughter I would be too. I wish Charlie all the best in the future; I’m sure she will fly and we shall hear a lot more about her in the coming years.

Go forth and conquer the world of dance, Charlie!

    Best wishes,

    Lisa Lees and family.
