I’ve been following the U.S. SYTYCD since their second season. Love the show and am hoping that the U.K. version is also enjoyable BUT am hugely and not happily surprised that so many of the dancers are so old and have been on the ‘professional circuit’ for years. Wow — its such a big difference from the U.S. version. And if the format of the show is meant to be the same — how come 14 and not 20 dancers?

I’ll wait and see what happens — but can’t see how such old-timers are going to match the enthusiasm of the young, fresh, frisky dancers of the U.S. version.
